Beautiful 89 degrees today - came home and decided it was RT weather...
I was no more than a couple minutes on the cruise when 6 or 7 bikes come flying up behind me... And, as suspected, they fly by me doing wheelies... [img]/images/graemlins/laughing.gif[/img]
The very last bike, of course, matches my speed and starts to rev...
We are on a very long straight away - broken about every half mile by a stoplight...
I roll up behind all of them at a light - they all turn around and make gestures, rev, etc... Two lanes - they're in the left - zero cars in the right or in front of them... We take off and it was gradual - they were all looking back - not shifting - waiting to see what I was going to do... I get to the right lane - leave it in second - watch two of the front guys hammer it - I do the same...
Yikes - that car still scares me. I killed both those front bikes... We roll to the next light - a guy comes up to my window and tells me how fucken loud the car is at WOT...
Now we do it from a complete stop... Essentially - two new guys side by side in the left lane now - me in the right. We launch - the bikes have me - but I immediately reel them in and continue to absolutely kill them... I was actually stunned - or maybe the guys just got their bikes out of storage [img]/images/graemlins/laughing.gif[/img] Guess you'd have to have been in the passenger seat - was great though...
Louder than a fucken freight train with headers, charger and mopar exhaust at WOT... You gotta love that... And it is always fun to mess with bikes in the right conditions...
Now - just need to mount that new camcorder - and then I can start sending you guys footage... [img]/images/graemlins/laughing.gif[/img]
Nice. I have raced 2 600's and beat them both in a stock RT from a slight roll, and played with a 750 on the highway who couldn't pull me (nor did I pull him for that matter). But it's quite a thrill to even keep up, let alone beat a bike.
every once in a while, i'll pull up that video of your car and sit back and just listen...it's music to me. seriously. I have my S/C in the garage ready to install with my borla exhaust. may go catless to see how it sounds first. If it's too loud, I'm going with the metal sub hi flo's.

Yeah I dunno - the day me and Jessie shot that video - I didn't think it was nearly as loud as i did when I had it out yesterday... Not to mention the down shifts - we're talking shot gun blasts here... Not that I mind - just need to be nice to it when people are around else they'll be hitting the pavement thinking it is a drive by...
I'll get some more video soon - I am installing the camcorder in the RT...
Yeah I know Tracey - like I said - that car still scares me a bit... Suppose it will take me a little while to get used to it...
We will repave HWY 13 in front of my house with PZero material... Man that is an awesome road... Get several pulls since there are lights every half mile...
It was kinda funny - a crotch rocket passed me yesterday - he was standing up on the pegs doing a wheelie... There is nothing better than going 50 or 60 - and then dropping it into 3rd to WOT...
I've gotta be careful in the RT though - I can churp them in three gears now...
