Re: Fuck North Korea
Unfortunately, most countries in this world are really run by a few people at the top. The common man like me just wants to be left alone, have a roof over my head, food on my table, raise a family,.... the simple things in life. Then you have the people at the top who may not think the same way most of the people in their country do. Many people in this world are oppressed. Think in our own country-we really don't have much of a choice when it comes to who to vote for for President do we. Sure in reality you could vote for anyone who meets the criteria (35 years or older, born in the US, and what have you), but the reality is there are usually only 2 candidates that stand any chance of getting elected. And since this is a democratic society we actually have the right to choose who runs our country, but we may not agree completely with the policies of the person we voted for. The same can't be said for all other countries in the world havign a say in who runs their country, and most of the 3,000 people killed in N. Korea were probably just common folks like you and I who would prefer to just be left alone and don't have any ambitions of taking over or terrorizing the world.
But in general I hate using my tax dollars to help the rest of the world too. We have enough needs in our own country.
