Back from Vegas......(Long with pics)....Added more pics......
Well, actually we got back yesterday but I have now caught up on enough sleep that I can actually function enough to post about it.
That and the fact that there is still some alcohol lingering in my bloodstream. I'm considering a transfusion.
Huge thanks to HighRoller as usual for hooking us up with the most unbelievable suite you've ever seen! The living room alone was as big as my house.
Needless to say, it was a 4 day bender the likes of which takes days to recover from. Hell, we were drunk when we got off the plane (Kasey needed assistance, but thats a whole other story).
So Neil picks us up at the aeropuerto in the sweet stretch, and it's off to the hotel we go. The second you walk into this suite all you can do is start giggling, so that quickly became rule #2 for the weekend. We usually only have one rule (If it's not fun, we don't do it), but we quicikly adapted to the 2 rule system (Rule#2 stated that you must giggle every time you walk into the suite, but the rule was rhetorical anyway, as it was impossible not to giggle).
Thursday night it was VIP at Voodoo Lounge where, after several shots of Tequila and Grand Marnier, Kasey decided it was time to lose her diamond eternity ring. After scouring the bar and the suite we decided it was history so she hit the sack, prepared I'm sure to make our weekend a living hell with the regrets of losing her favorite ring. Magically, at about 2:00 am, the ring appeared out of thin air (you had to be there to understand the magnitude of the moment), and Neil and I decided it was a clear sign that we needed to gamble some more. More shots and Blackjack until 6am.
Friday was interesting. We left the girls beside the VIP pool (yes, we had our own pool! Don't want to mix in with the riff-raff ya know) and instructed the concierge to cut off their tab if it reached 6 figures. Lucky we did, because at around 5:00 I got "the call". Please come and get your wife. Ugh. So I leave all my chips on the table and head for the pool where I find out she's been moved to the ladies locker room for obvious reasons. Long story short: after carrying Kasey up to the bedroom over my shoulder, the hotel had to send security up to our room to make sure she was ok (I'm assuming for liability reasons, but it was nice to see they cared). I led the security guy into our bathroom where she lay motionless on the floor and said "she's fine: she's Canadian".
Friday night we had tickets to Penn and Teller, so the 5 of us (we had 6 tickets, but you-kow-who was unable to attend so I flew solo) head down for the show. It was quite entertaining, but I have to say i was not impressed with the actual magic. I've seen them on TV before and their tricks were much more impressive. After the show it was more Blackjack and many more shots for me, and everybody else went their separate ways for the night.
Is it just me, or can you yanks not keep up with us Canadians?
Saturday we were glad to pick up Jeff (Yellow Fever) and Carrie at the airport and we decided it was time to tear it up. VIP table at Ghost Bar was the call, so off we went. I think this was by far one of the funnest nights I've ever had in Vegas. We tore the place up. It was no problem fulfilling the 2 bottle minimum (there was only 6 of us, and I don't think Carrie was prepared for the blistering pace that we set).
Mental note: The bouncers apparantly don't like it when you jump up and down on the glass floor outside at Ghost Bar
After that it was back to the suite where Neil entertained us with his somewhat lessened skills (I think it could have been the alcohol) on the baby grand, while the rest of us danced around the room like total idiots (I have pics, but they are currently being used in my masterful blackmail scheme).
Sunday was pretty much just me. I did convince Neil to have a drink with me at the blackjack table, but he seemed to turn a slight shade of green after one sip, so I let him off the hook and proceeded to get myself shit-faced anyway.
We had a great weekend at the tables. I came home with more money than I went down with, and as of our leaving, Neil was up as well.
All in all.....definately the best Vegas trip ever! It's impossible to put into words exactly how much fun we had, but he above summation pretty much outlines most of it. There are many more stories, and tons of pics, but they will have to wait until the end of negotiations
Below are the pics that I can show for now.
P.S.
Neil: Thanks again for a great time as usual. You are truly a great friend, and a great person.
Jeff: It was great seeing you again! Tell Carrie we said "hey", and let's get to planning that SD trip. Either that, or get your asses up to Canada. I'd rather go to SD when it's cold up here anyways.
Is it my imagination, or did Carrie and I actually play a Heart-and-Soul duet at 4am in the morning? Come to think of it, I believe I even taught Rock Star how to jam along, yes? ("just play any note and I'll make it work") Yikes, I wonder what the Mormons downstairs thought of that!
Rock Star, while we're opening up the photo-negotiations, I have just two words for you: Peanuts Dance. heheheheheheh
I do have to confess that I could not keep up with the Canadians on this trip. I hope they won't repossess my Olympic Drinking Team T shirt!

You earned that shirt. We don't judge on short term individual performances. Besides, you stayed closer to my pace then the rest of them anyway! Most of the late night binges were just you and I. Kasey did way too much damage to herself by day to ever see 4am, and Dan and Raech slept too much during the daylight hours. If you weren't there, I'd be measuring myself for a nice new AA jacket (Canadian rule: your not an alcoholic if someone else is is drinking with you).
Actually, I think the duet was you and Raechal. Jeff and Carrie dissapeared rather quickly once we got back to the suite
BTW: Peanuts Dance is exactly that......Peanuts......compared to "Hot Tub Snorkeling"
The Mormons will never be the same. All I know is the mother kept saying to the son :"We don't judge people honey" over and over
Smackie: Sorry I didn't get a chance to call you. The whole weekend went by like a blur. You have a PM.
Thanks guys. For those that don't know, my wife Kasey is the one in the pink and beige striped outfit and Jeff's wife/gf Carrie is the blonde in the black outfit. The other girl dancing with Highroller by the piano is my cousin Raechal.
There was definately no shortage of beautiful women this weekend!
Greg, both you guys have some really cute wives. Congrats! Looks like you all had a great time in the Playa's suite too.
Viva Las Vegas!
Paul, you have no idea how killer that suite is! The pictures don't even begin to do it any justice. Not a word of a lie, I spent 5 minutes looking for Kasey at one point. I could hear them talking, and was yelling to them, but had absolutely no idea where they were.
Neil and I figured it had to be roughly 10-12,000 sq. feet.
