You don't know what your talking about. There are tons of 9 second N/A CRX's and Integra's. Totally streetable, running on stock tires.

Not to piss on anyone's parade and you can Flame away, but I always found it strange that some of the best times in the Whole Nation, were always at Atco. On the Z06 site, the guys posting from racing at Atco were always faster than the rest of the Z06 in the Whole Nation. Either this is the Faster, Best Prepped, Best Sea Level in the Nation or it is Bullshit with someone playing with the distance or clock.

Whole different ball game with a racing auto tranny and a car that is properly set up for drag racing (tires, suspension, proper gear ratios). There are heads/cam/exhaust Viper's that have run 135+ (low 10's) with stock displacement 6 speeds. Toss a drag suspension and a auto and your in the 9's. The speed tells the story. Still impressive, though.
