Which shifter?
After only driving my viper for a few days the stock shifter is driving me nuts, what shifters are most popular in these cars?

Re: Which shifter?
MGW LTD. George is a great guy, terrific craftsman, and pretty much the industry standard.

Re: Which shifter?
If the stock shifter is too tall, a short throw adaptor helps. It bolts in in place of the rubber isolater part of the shifter. I'm giving some away in the sponsors' forum this month.

I had the B&M Ripper installed with the MGW knob however mine still sits up high, looks higher than SB's. If I can get my camera back I will post a pic. (damn "professional photographer" dropped it at a wedding and broke it!)

I agree. I run an MGW First Strike knob with the stock shifter and it is perfect.

I just removed this shifter from my car! Hated the darn thing. Looking for something else while living with the stock shifter. (at least I don't miss shifts with the stock one)

Re: Which shifter?
The B&M I have is a gated shifter and I no longer miss gears. However even with the MGW knob it sits up almost as high as the stock shifter. I'd like to lower it a bit. Looking to win the adapter give away!
Any other suggestions?
