and when i look through Cycle Trader, i noticed a few 2002 bikes (one GSXR-1000 and one R1) that were ubber cheap. the R1 was 3300 with under 1k miles, and the Suzuki was 4100 with 3k miles. they are not in my area, but hell if i have to ship it for 800 bucks, i'd still be getting a steal <---- is that what im dealing with? is this a scam?
10-20% would generate the desired quick sale. They have either been down, The proverbial mother, father, husband , wife "I am going to sell that damn thing" for whatever reason....with bikes I see this happen quite a bit. Parents pissed at their kids for one reason or another(usualy because they bought a motorcylcle)
if ya go look at these look closely!!..i'll bet they've been down!!..i se alot of these bikes out there that have been rebuilt after a big wreck and then sold!!..sounds like these are way to cheap in my opinion...i've been riding and playbing with bikes most of my life!!..gotta '99 R-1 in the garage and a FZR-600 tricked out and a couple cruisers....i've owned prob about 30-40 bikes over the years...some i liked and kept...others i didn't and sold them quick!!..look closely at any bike ya buy!!!

Watch out for stolen bikes. I know it may sound crazy that people are trying to sell a stolen bike, but it happens more and more these days. Just make sure all the vin numbers match. Bikes get layed down alot, and yet another thing to watch for. Never buy a used one site unseen.
