I left a meeting with one of the VP's this afternoon in another building and as I am walking to my truck I spot this beautiful Ford GT sitting in one of the executive parking spots. Two spots over from Bill Ford's spot. I walk to my truck thinking it'd be cool to snap a picture if I had a camera with me until I remembered I have a camera phone. Duhh. So I snapped a pic as I drove by. Kind of crappy pic and my mirror got in the way, but the car was a beauty. Must be nice to be higher up on the totem pole and be able to drive one of these babies home for the weekend. Some day. Maybe. Oh, and the front facia was resting on the sidewalk. Ouch. But there is a plastic gaurd mounted under the front facia so I don't think it'll do any damage, unlike in the Viper. Been there, done that.
All I can do now is sit and stare at the 2 1:18 scale models of the Ford GT in my computer room. Arrrggghhhhh!!!! On a good note, I took the Viper out of storage and cruised around for about an hour after work. My baby has been cooped up in storage for 3 1/2 months. Good to be back in the saddle!!!!
Pulled your GTS out of storage and gave her a run? Nice, not yet for me but getting there.
Feel like hitting Tator's BBQ on May 1st? Just picked up the invite to it when I was over in MI today.
Lowered my window to listen to a Neon SRT in the tunnel under throttle, a sure sign it's time to take out the GTS soon!haha
talk to ya soon, Ford GT nice, I like, you better buy one or I am gonna, make mine blue please!
Hey Ryan. Took her out again today for some cruising. Been so long. I think the other cars around me appreciated finally seeing some high end sports cars coming out of hibernation. Had a guy at a stop light want me to wind it up when I took off and a guy at a Land Rover dealer wanted me to stomp on the gas when I left too. The sound of this baby at WOT is music to my ears.
