Honestly, I dont know why anyone would want to live anywhere where it snows regularly during the winters. Seems like fuckin hell. Shoveling snow out of your driveway. De-icing your windsheilds, scraping them in the morning. Walking around with parka's, fuck that. Its all about living in warm climates and going to the snow when you want to see it. When youre sick of it, leave it and go back to the warmth. I think people who put up with snow, just dont know what its like to live wihtout it....but as they say, "A luxury once sampled becomes a necessity".

Cold snap??? Jeez people, I've worn nothing but shorts for atleast 2 weeks now. Although it is a bit cold today with the wind blowing. My legs got a little chilly when I woke up for class this morning, but shorts and low 70's will do that to ya.

We can shutter Minneapolis, Pittsburgh and Detroit and nobody would care.
In fact, we could trade Detroit(the highest concentration of Arabs in the U.S.) for Saudi Arabia and build a wall around the whole area. Better to keep your enemies close [img]/images/graemlins/laughing.gif[/img]

Warm weather is great...but just not all year long. Having seasons other than searing and saturated is actually pleasant. Yes, driving snow IS a pain, but you're talking about maybe 10 days a year. Cold (not Canuck cold) of 30 degrees and sunny for 2 months is fine.
Regardless, NYC (and maybe a few other urban areas) north of the Mason Dixon line make it well worthwhile. I can't speak for the "Buffalo's" of the north; there my argument fall apart big time.

I'll take the Buffalo's of the world. Snow is nothing. It doesn't slow mw down, nor is it an issue to drive thru.
Cold? Put a jacket on or put another log on the fire. Nothing more romantic with a wonderful lady on your arm, watching as the snow falls, in front of a roaring fire or in a hot tub.
Bottle of red, Bottle of white, Purhaps a bottle of Rose` instead. And some nice music( Barry White, Al Dimeola, Stanley Clark)
Gets no better.

Ha! Jacket, insulated underwear, hand and feet warmers, it still doesnt do anything to the fact that I am FREEZING my ass off. I HAAAATE being cold, HATE IT! You can't go do anything athletic. It sucks being outside. That whole watching snow by a fire with a chick around your arm gets old QUICK. How can you enjoy being inside all day long? If I'm not knocking the bottom out of some chick for 12 straight hours, I gotta get out of the house.

Yeah the Smile Center circuit rider gets around to Coontrap Texas every couple of years ... along with the preacher. That's sho 'nuff when we git our teeth cleaned to a bright shiny yellow and our cousins married.
