Trying to decide between a high-gloss epoxy garage floor or a racedeck floor. I had a commercial VCT floor and a real tile floor. The tile is a tad pricey since you ahve to go with quartz or granite, and the VCT didnt handle water too well. The epoxy is kinda plain, but is durable. So for those of you with Racedeck floors, how do they hold up for your daily driver driving in and out constantly? Do the floors look "boogered" up after a while? What about getting a jack under the viper? Does it fuck up the tile? How easy is it to clean? Does it look clean after six months or have a dirty look to it? I would think that dirt gets trapped by the treads. What about water dripping down between the tiles, does it mildew?
Hold up to anything - no mold, etc... But, I must admit they are kinda a bitch to clean - but that might be because I am anal about making sure it looks nice... You can get about 8 different colors - and about 4 different styles... You can get two patches of racedeck where your car sits to allow the water to simply drain through...
I personally just think that the other epoxy styles didn't have the effect that I wanted. Yes, probably would be slightly easier to clean - but...
Go through a distributor and get a better price - should be able to get for about $2.90 a tile... That is what I recently bought mine new stalls at...
Jack - no issues - no scratching... Just getting all those little pebbles off take a little extra effort...

I'd go w/ Epoxy or the other. Race deck is nice, but I don't know about having the plastic "feel" to the floor. Also, you will scratch them if you work on the car much (which you may or may not, I dunno).
Just my .02 I have to figure out the same thing... I have 2,000sqft of garage concrete to cover

Why is snatch chiming in on a thread about racedeck?
WAR HERES YOUR TWO CENTS BACK, SO YOU CAN SHUT UP!!!
OK, Eric. Snatch is right. I am not going to take it. I would like to take this time to clear up some myths..
I wake up between 11:30-12:30...not usually 1:00
I usually drink 3 espresso drinks...and starbucks sucks..I use better quality stuff
I don't pet the pig much anymore because he is grouchy and snaps at me
Espresso doesn't make me sleepy...I just need more to avoid nap
I don't have a C230...just "loaned" to me for a day while the dealership worshipped my E55 for a day. SO, STFU!
I already took my shower today...just now
I don't have a TV in my formal living...yet. Must watch in bedroom or gameroom (too far for me to walk)
I never go to bed that early...usually around 2am...or so- depending on the activities before and during bedtime!
Greg, you sophomoric attempts at smack are entertaining. Keep it up and maybe one day you will get your diploma...
Your assupmtions of my home sex life are not for this board.
So far Fontenot has scoreboard for the house. Although fontenot has more garage spaces, Anthony has crown moulding and track lighting in his garage. Moneybagsredsnake doesnt have a garage so hes losing. I currently have a garage, and am in the process of preparing my new garage. Custom cabinets and crown went in today. We'll see....
LMAO Why would you put crown molding in your freakin garage?!
Because Anthony has it of course. Jason I have a waterfall in my garage, also in one corner a stage with a pole. Dont skimp when you get the diving platform.
