Domain Registration

My company is using Yahoo which is impossible to reach for assistance and is expensive. What's the best site/company to use for domain registration. I need 10 email addresses and a one page web site. Nothing fancy.

Re: Domain Registration

Domain registration and having a site hosted (with or without e-mail) are two totally different things. For just the registration part, we use GoDaddy.com, which is pretty much unbeatable at $7.95. It's the hosting that costs you.

Re: Domain Registration

I use powweb.com I think i'll change after my subscription expires. Mine was pretty cheap at ~100 or so for a year.

I want ftp, email and http, about 10 e-mail addresses, 10 ftp logins and 500MB or so of disk space. And i'd like to have a web based e-mail reader for the occasions when i need e-mail but forgot to bring the laptop.

Anyone know anyone good?

I use lunarpages.com. They have great support, reasonable rates, and tons of features. Their reliability is also excellent.

As usual, McGuire is right on. Domain name registration and hosting are two different services, though many places will perform both. As with McGuire, I also use GoDaddy.com, but I use it for both registration and hosting.
