Honestly for brakes, you now have better hardware than any other 99 ACR....except those of us who dumped the stock junk for 4 wheel big stoptechs

Now I feel the urge to go drive my Viper to recharge the battery. It's warmed up to 16 degrees outside and the snow showers have stopped temporarily (nothing's sticking...yet).

99?
it be a 2001.
ABS too
Now I just have to go get the sucker.
I hate winter.
Most transport companies won't promise delivery for less than 10 to 14 days so unless someone has a transport...I will be driving it back. (3 hour drive)

Through the snow? All those new clean parts are gonna be filthy. Guess you were gonna detail the undercarraige anyways.

I know...I hate to do it too.
The dealer is making a few calls to a few people he knows.
I guess I could also use a towing company that has a open flat bed. Cost around 300.00
The big transport co's want 700.00 and I think that is a borderline rip off.
dude, i am sorry but it is worth 500+ to make sure your car is home safely! can you imagine some idiot hitting you on the road b/c of ice or something? pay the 500 bucks and get an insured transportation from dealer to driveway. and, what is 500 bucks added to the total cost of the car considering you thought you were going to have to dump the rotors and calipers yourself, at your expense!

Its not the money...I just dont want to wait. I would rather just pay a enclosed transport co. 600 than an open flat bed for 500.00.
I want it now!!!
it sounded as if you were trying to justify the price, not the wait. if it is the wait, you'll be really sorry after you have your car two weeks, but with multiple imperfections from driving it in the snow. Versus, waiting those two weeks w/o the car, and it arriving like new...
