For the Price Tag, I don't like it. I rather have an E55 and the balance of money to play with. Too sharp of lines for me not flowing, but that's me.

I don't know why but I have never been a big fan of Mercedes. Class and sporty just don't mix well with me. Perhaps because I have very little class [img]/images/graemlins/supergrin.gif[/img]

There are so many other cars out there to waste time with a Mercedes.

Around $450,000 is the list, but I hear they've been pre-selling for upwards of $800,000

I don't know. From some angles, it looks good, but from others it is way out of proportion. I guess I'd have to see one in person to decide.

Here is a side shot, the front end looks way too long IMO.

That shot makes it look horrible. I remember seeing pics of that car now. Reminds me of a mix between a Crossfire and a Mercedes.

I don't care for it.

Here is a pic where it doesn't look so bad.

The coolest part of these cars is the exhaust. The mufflers are right next to the motor, in front of the passenger compartment. They stand up on end. The exhaust goes in the top of the muffler, then comes out the botton and exits the car right behind the front tires. Look close at the pics and you can see the exhaust tips.

Looks like a Supra with a Ford Probe or Cougar rearend.

I am sorry but I think there are better cars to own for that money. An Enzo perhaps but a fricken Mercedes for that amount??????

I heard that it is super fast. I am not a MB person. BTW, at the races last week, I saw this guy with a brand new $80k Benz drag racing...I don't think the engine was even broken in.

I love Murray but I do not like this car. I wanted to, but I just don't.

If I was in the market for an SLR, I'd also be in the market for a Carrera GT, which is what I'd actually chose hands down, no question.

this car is fucking ugly and beautiful at the same time. I dont know how, but it is. Would i take one?? yes. Would i ever pay for something like that assuming i had the jack to afford it?? no way. Mclaren F-1, Enzo, Carrera GT and a circus burger and i'd be set. (in that order) and yes, i would eat my burger in the F-1. :thumb:

By the way KingViper, ... if you see the video from the SA V10 Nationals in December, you'll find our own VA "GetBit" drag racing his new MB with less than 800 miles on it. :thumb: And he did well with it too!! Of course MB has now cancelled his warranty!!
