What in the world was he doing? I saw Mr. Comb-over turning the steering wheel but the car never turned. It looked slow enough that he should have made it.

If he took his foot off the brake for a moment, the car might have turned. Unless that model has ABS....then it was some mechanical failure. It it was mechanical, it might have helped to hit the emergency brake.

good instinct on the part of the course guy... a bit of tumble but he should be ok.

For the record, it's not me, not my car.
I would not risk such a pricey and awesome car doing parking lot racing like that.
