I haven\'t asked a stupid question in a while
so I figure it is time.

I am kinda new to this board and for the life of me I cannot figure out what "WAR" means. I keep seeing it now and then and it's usually followed by some statement.

I have been trying to figure this out on my own (even tried "searching"), but I give up. Somebody help.

Smackie would be the go-to guy on this one, only I'm 100% certain he'll accompany said explanation with an object lesson which you won't like.

Think of WAR as punctuation marking the start of an either affirmative or sarcastic battle-cry pithily summarizing your post. Oft employed as a final kick in the nuts to one's opponent, a psychological emptying of the magazine into their chest, daring them to stand up and get some more. Got it? Anyone know why Auburn uses the War Eagle take when their mascot is the Tiger?? [img]/images/graemlins/confused[/img]
