Formula One in June

Its the Indy date. Its usually in September but this year it is in June. Let me know Steve if you decide to go. I have friends in Indy and can hook you up. A friend of mine's parents rent their rooms out for that weekend - that's how booked all the hotels and stuff are.

I would go, but I'm getting married in June. I pitched the idea of a honeymoon in the pits with the Schumachers but it didn't go over so well!

I went the first two years and missed this past year. I think it's great it's moving to June because the weather was unpredictable (and even cold) both times I went in September. It's a good time and to see those cars in person is incredible.

I just may go this year.

Fonz-I would also like to take my dad.He used to race formula B in the 70's.

In 2001 I took him,my brother and my cousin to the brickyard 400 neck race and it was great.I went upstairs to the photo room in the Indy museum.Thats where I bought a 8x10 picture of a 96 Dodge Viper Indy pace car.By october that year I had my 97....Powerfull place.

probably in the stands, but I haven't purchased them yet. i haven't been to indy before, so would it be best to get infield tickets?

we're going to go to qualifying on Saturday as well.

Clownshoe, that's pretty cool. I hope you get to take your Dad this year.

I have been going since the first USGP at Indy...worth every penny!

I already have the weekend planned out with my wife so I wont be able to do guys thing.

Fridays and Saturday I sit all over the track and on Race day it's Section A Penthouse...I have a full view of the pits and all the pre-race stuff.

Here is a sweet shot of MS's Ferrari. Notice the blue flames from the Exhaust and the glowing rotors. SWEET!
