Just got a letter stating: Unfortunately we are unable to approve the requested license plate configuration for the following reasons-

1)We must refuse any plate which carries connotations offencive to good taste and decency,or which may be misleading to some of our citizens.

The plate in question: CLWNSHO

I'm calling these assholes on monday-- WTF is offencive about a Clownshoe ?

Fucking Democrats with their politicaly correct bullshit.

wtf thats werid. Mabey someone called some black dued a Clownshoe or told him to sho or that he was a clown and they get offencive whenever they see it.

it could be read, "clowns ho" that could be offensive. the only thing is, i bitch about girls wearing too much make-up as it is!!!

you can always appeal. I think that if you write an appeal and explain what it means and add a pic of your car it may stand a chance at passing. i'm thinking that DMV read it like CLOWNS HO, Perhaps CLOWNSHU is easier to pass?
