I think the VCA as an organization could care less about the site and have basically abandoned it. The lack of interest, leadership and focus is slowly killing the site.

I'll never understand why absolutely nothing got done after all the effort that went into coming up with ways to make everyone happy.
We had the written proposals, the face-to-face meetings, the committment from developers - everything needed to make it work - and nothing. All the phone calls, emails, group chats, the formation of the Web Committee - all for nothing.
It was all a game - Tony Estes and Jay didn't think the people would deliver and when they did they just pretended nothing happened and ducked for cover hoping it would all go away (and we did).
Never in my life had I allowed myself to get so emotionally wrapped up in a website before.
I like my local VCA - the Ohio VCA - they actually do fun things, but the National VCA and the O'Fish Al VCA site comes off like anywhere from a knowledgable place to polite laughter place to a place to go masterbate. [img]/images/graemlins/jackoff[/img]

NCVCA Rocks. They do cool shit and actually drive their cars. National VCA? I dont have a clue what they do. Overall I dont have a big problem with the morg, probably because I'm not interested in the politics of it. Good source for technical info. The search button works.
