I have ran from cops a couple times on my Daytona 955i, but a Viper is a unique car and a little easier to pick out. I don't have one yet, so I can't speak from experience. It seems to me that if you did, next time you drove it you would get pulled over anyway. There's only a handful of Vipers in any given town and you drive in the same area often.
I ran away with a wild chase with my Vett 17 years ago.I was doing 110mph and got clocked. I see him about a mile back and gun it even more. The first exit I get on the LIE I get off and zig zag all different streets. I ditch car in an empty lot and hide for about 1 hour.Thank god I didn't get busted. I would be dead.
Yeah, you'd have to be crazy to "seriously" think about running from the cops in a viper. Thats a "serious" offense that only someone as mean spirited as a poodle hater would do.

I figured if you get clocked at over 100mph, you're going to jail one way or the other. So if you're going to be a bear, be a grizzly bear. One time I did the zig-zag thing. The other time was on a highway and I took them on a 5 mile run at over 160mph. The cop that clocked me didn't keep up and after about 3 miles there was another cop waiting in the median. But he had no chance starting from 0. I made it home safely both times. It's a rush, but I don't think I'll do it again. It would depend on the situation.
ATX, I wasn't so scared of the cops catching me.I was 20 then. I Was more terrified if my dad found out he would have killed me. Never would I do it again and never have I thought about it even when the fuckers stop me.
Anthony, sweet ride Bro. I see Mike hung out with you. I am doing the party think with Moundir soon. I need a drink and I will put him under the table in drinking

I hate poodles! A poodle is to a dog, what a miata is to a car. Worthless
1982. Tried to outrun a 71 Plymouth driven Buford T. Justice himself. I was on a 750 Yamaha Special (a pig of a bike, pun intended). I said "screw it" to a 65 in a 55 speeding ticket and took off. He was on my ass at 120mph and off to jail I went.
The speed limit along that same stretch of Interstate today is 70mph. Ironic aint it.
1983. Sort of ran. I was drag racing my 71 Firebird 455 against a 69 Z28. The cops came after us and I took off one way while the pig went after the Z. Thinking I was in the clear, I took this little hottie home and started to put the final touches on the evening when I heard a rap on the door at one end of the house and my Mom walking through the other. I tossed the chick her clothes, pulled up my pants, headed Mom off in the kitchen and told her it was just a friend at the door.
Only once - he was coming towards me as he clocked me.... I was doing 125mph
All I could do was smile and wave
then floor it!

My brother had to do one of those speed, zig zag, and hide out with lights out tricks - after doing 110mph in a 30mph zone.... ouch!! Those days it was almost ok - today there's too many people around - too dangerous.
Back then - a guy with a hot V8 could power wheelspin down the main street thru the first 3 gears and be considered a hero....
now they'd be called a prisoner

Thanks Man,
Next time I make a roady to NYC I know who I will be calling.
I'm one guy that you will have trouble drinking under the table.
I have never run from the state troopers. Especially on the way to Norwalk's Viper Nationals by way of Cleveland to get tuned by Larry Macedo. And I never was blocked by slow #$%^$@ traffic in the fast lane driving 60 MPH in a 65 zone. I never had to go around all the way to the slow lane because the middle lane was going 62 MPH. And everyone knows how slow a Yellow Viper is in 6th gear, especially a Roe Supercharged one. It would have to be impossible to go from 60 MPH to 140+ MPH in less than 10 seconds. And I'm sure the state trooper going the other way turned his lights on to arrest the 4 cars in the fast lane for going 60 MPH in a 65 zone instead of me.
