My town is getting over run by cops....

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?? Every median, most every intersection.... All over town. State troopers up and down the highway... Out in force for the past 30 days... holy shit! State Troopers, City Police , County Sherriff. All protecting us from big bad speeders.... Glad they are on our side.. Why just the other day someone buzzed by me doing 65 MPH and it scared me...

I can't drive 1 mile without seeing someone pulled over and that's not exaggerating.. I'm seeing fake survey trucks parked in the median with a tripod with a survey tool on it and a PIG shooting laser / radar and police cars and motorcycle cops pulling them over a few hundred yards down the road.

Don't they have anything else to do? Isn't the job of police to prevent crime and be available when a crime against another person is committed? What else can they do but harass and fine the citizens that pay their very paycheck? I'm having a hard time understand the role of the police latley.

To evey fucking cop in FL.. YOu can all kiss my white ass...

They're all over Tampa too. Coming home last night (Tuesday) about 11pm I saw cops pulling people three separate times in the span of less than 10 miles.

They used to do this where I lived in Cali. Once every now and then they would choose an area and "crack down" on speeders. Fuckin ridiculous way to generate revenue.

There's always a big crackdown through the holidays, starting before Thanksgiving and going through New Years, allegedly due to increased highway deaths, but more likely a way to help the government make ends meet through end of the year revenue generation.

Remember, the speeding ticket you pay today can keep a cop employed another day.

There is an election coming next year, and Florida needs the extra $$ for new voting machines and voting booth education for all the cotton tops
