Driving was a little tough today.......

I just came down from NH this morning, where the storm had just started, to head back to MA & the driving was a little bit tough on Rt95S just north of Boston. (This is a 4 lane road).....

Oh man that looks like fun. Makes me want to get a 4x4 even more. I wish it would snow all winter here. All we have is gray and brown grass.

We've got well over a foot here in Walpole, MA & it's still coming down heavy.

The sleds are ready, but as you know, the lakes aren't frozen yet, so it'll still be a while before we have access to the trails. Pray with me for about 2 weeks of arctic cold to freeze everything up. [img]/images/graemlins/supergrin.gif[/img]

we are headed in the area of where I40 and I77 intersect. Unfortunately I am just hired help along with my dad and we are just going to be touch and will probably be in the state for less than 6 hours. It would be great to have been able to meet up but my dad is a nazi when it comes to staying on schedule. How's the weather down there Slaughter?

Just got home from Last Samurai. And now. with 10" on the ground, we're oof to Yonkers to buy our tree. This should be a blast with all the snow. Just hope the crazy snow drivers are at home. The worst are the 4WD neewbies, that think that a 4WD vehicle will handle in the snow as well as a rwd car will handle on a dry road. Stupid asses! They are the ones that cause accidents and tie up traffic for hours. Always some 4wd idiot that wants to blow buy everyone at 60 mph in a snowstorm.

Buy the way, Samurai was incredible!!!

Looks like a nice lite dusting.When we go for serious snow we go to the adirondacs east of lake Ontario.One year got 127" of snow in 24 hours.Snow mobile and snow cats are the mode of travel.Lots of arrows on trees about 15 ft off the ground pointing to the nearest bar,resturant,gas station etc.Favorite watering HOLE "The lake effect bar".Dress warm.Friend of my and his family put 2000 miles on their sleds there one season.
