We've been done with the real tree mess & got a good deal on a fakee tree during a 'day after' sale a couple years ago. For $200.00, no more muss & no more fuss, plus & it always looks great. :thumb:
With cats drinking the water nonstop and the fire hazard, we went with fake.
PLUS it saves the trees and the Spotted Owls!

Our cats still steal the ornaments off and hide them. The little Bastards, every year it is the Cats vs the Tree.
Man I started laughing when I read that. One year the tree fell over because the cat thought they could climb it. Another cat is addicted to the shiny balls and in the house before we had tile and every day it was sweep the tile. It was such a joy to pick the glass out of my feet when I got up in the middle of the night. They rolled it on the tile until it broke right in the middle of the hallway.
Ah what awaits us this year????
Funny you said Tree Hugger....before I met my wife I lived to cut down some old tree, lived to kill innocent animals for the sake of target practice, HATED CATS and loved to eat Dead Red (COW)......now I consider more things like do we really need to cut down this 50 year old tree? I no longer hunt since I got rid of my Jeep and just target practice now, I love cats now and we own 4 Siamese seal Points and one Oriental Short Hair (Frick man I even know the breed!), I started painting again, started writing and the topper is the other day I am in the store looking at Boca Burgers or whatever they are called because since we moved out to the farm country the wife sees the nice little cows ect and cannot eat Dead Red anymore.......she does most of the cooking so I guess I am adjusting????
Am I turning into a California tree hugging, animal lover, soy bean eating faggot or do I simply love my wife enough that those things are not a priority anymore....God she even has me watching Dr Phil!!!!!
it is true. you are gay. Go have a damn steak or at least some veal!
ah but it still is better than being Canadian
Man I might not know who I am in another 10 years at the rate I am changing. Perhaps I should make a video to myself now. I could watch it and remember how I used to be!
Real is my favorite but fake is much easier. Since we're not gonna be visiting family this year, I got a real one. Its a Noble Fir and it smells great. I think the trick is to alternate year to year.
