Mike, I agree 100% with what you're saying!! IMO though the headers are a no brainer for the S/C guys because... The headers will allow much quicker disapation of exhaust gasses at all rpm levels and also provide less thermal load within the engine. I can't see any way that forced air (in the amount of 17psi to be exact) can't benefit from these. It will also lower the manifold pressure because the air flow is so much improved after the heads. I'm excited about testing this so we can all put the debate to rest! If they don't provide beneficial results thoughout the entire range of useable power we will all know together

Does anyone have prices for these headers with/without cats? And what kind of HP gains from these without the cats?

Hey guys, Nick just got back in town and forwarded me the info. for pricing for our cars.
My set will be arriving at the end of the week, so I will post pics and my impressions on them as soon as they arrive I will be taking them with me next week to UGR for testing on my B&W. I will post dyno results before and after, and hopefully provide a video as well I'm currently working with ARH on a group buy if anyone's interested. I will let everyone know how many units will need to be sold and the discounted price as I find out.
Currently the map pricing for the headers are as follows

Gen II 1 3/4" and 1 5/8" base headers w/out connection pipes = $1775.00
Gen II 1 5/8"x1 3/4" with 3" connection pipes with cats = $2,295

basically you can add the 3" con. pipes with cats for $520 or 3" catless pipes for $325 to the bare headers price of $1,775.00

Gen III pricing is identical

Thanks,
Matt
