I certainly hope so. In the wake of the Nick Hogan incident, why wouldn't we want to teach the kid a lesson. A suspended license today might save his (and others) life tomorrow.

What ever happened to being responsible for ones actions. Fuck this...I know he's your friend and all, but don't you want to keep him around for a while???

Just my .02.

Anyway, in NJ, if you get 6 points on a provisional license, your license will get suspended. On a basic driver's license, it is 12 points. Now Vette boy is awaiting court for:

-Speeding 80 in a 45 - 5 Points
-Changing lanes without a signal - 2 Points
-Speeding 87 in a 50 - 5 Points
-Unsafe Lane Change - 2 Points
-Loud Muffler - No points
-No Front Plate - No points

Now the thing is, he is turning 18 this Sunday. All of his court dates are after he will be 18 and transfer his license to a basic driver's license. Now if he gets the tickets knocked down to something like 8 points or so, will he still get his license taken away since he had a provisional at the time of the incident (6 Points allowed) or will he be fine since the points will be processed at a time that he has a regular license? (12 Points allowed)

Thanks in advance
