Yes, the food prices aren't that extravagant.....when you buy for one. But when you have to buy three meals out a day for 5 people (in my case) plus snacks, drinks, and the occasional souveneer, it's easy to drop at least a couple hundred bucks on food each day each you're there. Add to that the admission price (X5) and the price for a Disney hotel (should you choose), air fare, & car rental, and it's easy to spend well over 5-7 grand for the week. And instead of being relaxed, you're exhausted at the end of the vacation!

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, that's just the reality. Nowadays, my philisophy is to take a relaxing vacation rather than one that's going to tire me out.

You are 100% correct in stating that the place is run like a well oiled machine. It's a pipe dream, but can you imagine if governemnt could be run like Disney?
