Depressed people do not love themselves so they can not love anyone else. I started my wife on antidepressants and it has really helped but there are a lot of other issues with her.
With a man what you see is what you get but women often hold it in and then explode with anger and this caches us totally off guard, at least this is what happened to me.
She has to want to help herself first but I'm sure she is in denial. It's much easier to use you as the excuse for all her depression.
I know how hard it must be for you now but it definitely will get better.
