That was precisely what I was thinking of. If mopar teamed with someone who ALREADY builds Twin Turbo Vipers; the R&D and cost wouldn’t be nearly as high as if they started from scratch. I’m sure they could sell limited number (say 25-50/yr) for 100k-110k and still turn a profit.

It would be nice to keep the ACR as a “road race” car then make something like an AAR for the street version of an ACR + turbos.

They could make a Deal with Saleen (or dare I say Hennessy just due to name brand recognition) A 800hp(680rwhp – 700rwhp) Viper would be no big deal. If they wanted to do a world beater…of 1100hp(935rwhp-950rwhp) Sell it for 150k.

The Viper needs to step out of this pissing match with the vette and go after the Enzo(or whatever car Ferrari has in the works…I hear it will be a turbo car) and play on the world stage.

The viper has the suspension and chassis to do it. I just needs a bit more power and some trick brakes. Throw in some TC for the cry babies(but make it an option and charge extra)

I just hate to see the Viper get the Ax…it’s just too good of a platform for it to end.
