To answer your concerns about underhood temp issues, there aren't any. T304holds heat in extreme well. It's the reason why we use it. With countless C5, C6 and ZO6 systems sold to date, underhood temps or durability haven't ever been a problem. Others coat their systems because they have to. Mild steel deteriorates quickly. Mild steel is also more than half the cost of stainless.
