I was there, his car is bone stock. The track and conditions were absolutely perfect. I ran an 11.06 @ 129.77 w/1.71 60 ft, in my Gt2, (ECU flash and exhaust) on street tires (MPS2's). I am putting out around 530 to 540 hp to the crank and weigh about 100 lbs more than Jamie's Z (per factory specs) who stock is at 505 to hp the crank. So we are very close in HP and weight. He ran a 10.98 @ 128.90 on stock runflats. The temp that day was 45 degrees with a dew point of 15. Never the less, Jamie is a hell of a driver. He ran a 11.2 on the same track in 95 degree heat and humid conditions.

The guy is a true car enthusiast that actually loves all cars and driving them fast. He did run his Gt2 (ECU flash and exhaust) on drag radials and clocked a 10.83 last month on a 60 degree day. Unfortunately, we didn't get the entire 6Z06 run, or the 10.98 run on video because the videotape was made by a 6speedonline forum member who brought a video camera to video his 11 second Benz and decided to video a couple of runs by Jamie and I. This is the video of his 10.83 @ 130.05 w/ 1.70 60 ft, on drag radials that he clocked later that same day.

We are both anticipating the release of the new Viper ACR, great conditions at MIR should make for an interesting day. Jamie's got the slips for both those record runs and I've got the slip for my 11.06 run and a video of my Gt2 running an 11.18 and 11.20 before I clocked the 11.06, but I don't think you guys would be interested in those.

This is the typical, "If I can't do it, it can't be done" knee jerk response. Give good driving credit when credit is due, regardless of the car. If you ever met Jamie you would never question his veracity or his driving skills. Heffner will quickly vouch for this guy and so will I.
