We aren't turning our backs on any prior customers and are handling each situation on a case by case basis. Racing Solutions is and will continue to be straightforward with all of our customers. We do not offer warranty on performance builds for a reason. There are a myriad of reasons why something can go wrong and it is so easy for someone to run the wrong fuel or crank up the boost or just beat the hell out of a car then pull the warranty card for a new engine.
We are confident enough in our work that we don't need to offer a warranty. Every build is unique, like a fingerprint. Some cars are built for endurance, drag, top speed, show/cruising, and some are totally built hardcore racers. A car that is built under the premise of "i want to make a lot of power that I won't use very often at all, I just want to know its there" and then gets taken to 8 hour track days twice a week obviously might have some problems. It might be okay or it might blow a diff or overheat because it simply wasn't built for that venue because the customer had a certain budget in mind. Without a warranty the customer has responsibility and we have a reputation to uphold. If all of our customers get mad and never spend money with us again then we would have a real problem. So far the great majority of our customers have been thoroughly satisfied with our service and commitment to their RSI experience.
Anything from gift certificates to discounts for customer loyalty. We have an RSI800 car coming in for an RSI1500 build because the customer was very happy with their prior experience and we want to honor that. Long story short, there are great things on the horizon.
I just wanted you guys to know that I take this very seriously and will do the right thing, whatever the cost, if we are at fault. I know how important it is for the dream car to be exactly what you envisioned and if you ask any of our customers that I've dealt with they will tell you that we make every effort to ensure their expectations are not only met but exceeded.
