An explosives factory was there during WWII and they stored the bombs in igloo shaped bunkers that were camoflauged so German and Japanese planes couldn't fly over and spot them. After the war the area became a wildlife management area and around 11 PM on a night in November 1967 people first spotted Mothman. Then came all the UFOs and men-in-black...

I wanted to visit the area back then when all this was going on, but I never went. Now I go visit it after all the weird stuff has stopped happening. Everything seemed to come to an end December 1967 when the silver bridge collapsed at Point Pleasant.
