V10TT - damn right the auto helps, A LOT...he can short shift 1-2 at 6k rpm and stay in boost due to the convertor whereas if I short shift (to keep the tires from blowing away) I will be out of boost. Bob was running 980 rwhp through the convertor and I was running about 850 rwhp. My shift was 0.3 seconds however...

Trying to put that power down in second gear doesn't work and the last thing I wanted was a wrecked 9k mile Supra!
