I haven't driven a comp coupe yet, but I'm always out there racing against them in my race prepped GTS, which is an even further cousin than your SRT10's to the Comp coupe. I've heard from people who drive both that if you are somewhat fast in a production based race car, then you should be scary fast in a comp coupe. Any truth to that?

Good question Manny,
the SRT10 T1 hot rods are very good cars for production cars and it's true they due share many components of the CC and are quite fast. Witness some of the times run by those T1 hot rods at various tracks around the country such as WSIR 1:25.6, Topeka 1:47.0 and even a couple weeks ago we ran a 58.3 at BW on a 90* Friday in only 3 sessions...
BTW that #3 is still for sale...
We did elect to go for the 380mm brakes without ABS and the 305mm front tire and it looks to be a great package thanx to our awesome crew chief Fred Lux getting the package together in a way that blends properly with our MINTEX pads...
The CC is of course much faster than the T1 car... I would say on average about 6 to 8 seconds when setup and driven well...
The CC is a bit more difficult to drive to the limit than the T1 car because of the Aero and especially the lack of ABS and the adjustability and the need to get it right to squeeze everything you can out of the car...
The CC requires quite a bit more maintenance than the T1 car but it is so precise with all bearing suspension and rock solid cage it is an outstanding piece of work!
All the speeds such as corner entry, mid corner and corner exit are so much faster in the CC it is difficult to learn to judge just how much you have on tap at your disposal but once you begin to learn the limits and begin to carry speed just like you would in a lo powered car it is truly a thing of beauty and grace!
So many times with a hi powered hot rod it is easy to get lulled into not carrying the speed and over braking and just pounding on the gas to make up for not carrying the proper amount of speed in the first place cuz these things are just plain bad ass freekin scary fast but once you begin to get it FREEKIN ROCKS!!!
Not sayin we got it yet but there was a couple time during testing the light came on...
So to answer the question, it's like a T1 car on ROIDS, BUFF, CUT, SMELLY STRONG AS HELL AND READY TO KICK YER ASS!!!
Come see us at LB guys!
