Look All I can say Dan Cragin I the best on Vipers. He said the torque management was for towing. It would prevent it from overheating if you were to tow. So What I mean Is if you get rid of the tq management and start towing than you will have problems with the tranny for sure. I didn't say that racing will not harm it. I said was that if you race with it it will put way less harm as if you were towing. By the way I Checked with a transmission shop also. So I would trust Dan At Dc For all of his advice. I mean he's been doing this for 15 years as a viper specialists.
