I would push the stealership to put on the new rotors. They usually only warranty 12,000 miles but since they put on the new pads and turned the old rotors they will probably go ahead and fix your rotors.

I only have 3000 miles on my truck and it's a reg cab so I can't say how many miles you should get. I haven't seen any cross drilled or slotted rotors because they are unique to our trucks. Not worth the R&D to make them just for us. Some guys I know are buying new stock rotors and having them drilled but you are taking a chance IMO if you do that.
