Your employer should be directing you to get this looked at (unless you didn't tell anyone???). Bottom line - you were hurt at work, you should be treated by a professional and work should pay.

If you are that young - and I have to believe that you are - getting a cut that deep and not having it treated, healing improperly, etc - could leave you with a lifelong reminder of what NOT to do if you get hurt. PLEASE - have a Doctor look at this.
Blood poisoning is a serious concern here

I am missing the top of my index finger from the first knuckle up on my right hand because of a very small cut that I did not take care of when I was twenty. After 19 weeks off work, 200+ stitches after skin grafts from middle finger to index finger and from stomach to middle finger, many months of physical therapy, near death from blood poisoning(line up arm and lump in armpit) and lots of pain I still have no touch sensation, the thing gets cold like a motherfucker when it's below 60 degrees and I constantly bang it into things because I forget it's there.

Yeah, I would get medical attention dumbass!!!

But that's just me.
