On the edge of worldwide coverage of it's mistaken bombing of a shelter filled with women and children, Mel Gibson is arrested for making mysterious antisemitic statements in a drunken rage on a police officer who he accuses of being a "Jew".

Media attention is quickly diverted from the shelter bombing to Gibson's "racial" remarks critical of Jews everywhere delivering a sympathetic defense of Israel just when it needs it most.

Coincidence? I think not!
