Speed bumps are a royal pain in the ass - especially on cars like Vipers; but the it's people who could careless that they are flying by houses with little children playing outside that are the real problem. I've had my fair share of run-ins with people who think that just because they are in a rush they are entitled to drive however they please.
When we first moved to this neighborhood all the Osamas drove like they were packing explosives and trying to run some barrier. A couple afternoons of me screaming in their faces got them to slow down and it's stuck; but it shouldn't take threats and intimidation to get people to slow down.

Junk Man, I often see the same problem in my neighborhood and have taken to removing a shoe and throwing it at speeding cars. Scares the hell out of them and deters repeat offenders.
