ViperAlley Web Hosting?

I'm looking at a system which would let people host their own homepages here on ViperAlley. It isnt a cheap thing to do, so putting out some feelers to see if this is something people would use or if it would be a money loser.

This webpage was built in about 5 minutes using a front end that lets people manage their own websites. You dont need to know Flash or HTML - you just customize the page via your web browser.

If I did this, people could have a website like:

packetjunkie.viperalley.com

as their web address.

Okay, here's the kicker. The software to do this isn't cheap. And, of course, there is bandwidth to take into account. As such, we could do this a number of ways: monthly fees, a one time fee covers period of time or a one time fee and a monthly charge. I could also make this a feature of the Donation system, where a contribution of Gold or higher would include a free homepage setup.

Would people be interested in such a thing? It would let you setup your own homepage presence that you could customize as you saw fit.

The software is pretty neat - RUNNR put up his own site:

is about 5 minutes as well.
