My girl is finally finished and has been transformed from a 500 hp Beast to a 1000+ hp Monster courtesy of Hennessey Performance Engineering….The truck is coming home in the next few days....John just called and gave me the information and I wanted to share with you guys.....Truck made 1006 RWHP.

I finally got to sit in my own truck for the first time in a long while I was at Hennessey's shop…it was great… those big turbo’s mounted on each side of the engine….the custom headers and air to air intercooler…the steel braded lines and hoses connect everything.... it looks badass.

While I was there Hennessey, Nick and I took her out for a 25 mile spin.... she is smooth with all the finesse you would expect from 5600 lb. big truck....it shifts very hard….feels like it slams into gear rather than shifting thanks to the rebuilt tranny and converter....You really don't even notice you have turbo’s except you can hear them spool up..…but when you floor it you better have a clean diaper on….All hell breaks loose....it becomes a completely different truck more like a fire breathing dragon.. ..she pulls like a Raped Ape ... I realize care and respect must be given to this girl….she has more power than I have skills.

I did not do this build to see how fast I can go for 1320 feet….I am not interested in a 60-foot time ….I just wanted a badass truck that Hennessey built that I could drive to work, vacation, shooting events, or just a nice drive on a Sunday afternoon …..of course spanking some sports cars along the way is always fun .....It will be a thrill rolling from 60mph to 130mph….and in this truck that is a rush….Maybe someday I will try the track we will see….would like to do a mile run someday.

I can’t thank the all the guys at HPE enough…..especially Nick and of course Jennifer for all their hard work….and I would like to personally thank John Hennessey for the finished product…thanks for putting up with all my stupid questions, E-mails and my impatience. I guess it is true “all good things to those that wait”....It has been worth the wait....Thanks, John.
