Back when Brookspeed was still racing I talked to some of the mechanics, and at that time they breathed through TBs that were 20% smaller than stock, and they carried 250 lbs of ballast (which is pretty staggering). More recently they've had a slew of wing changes (which is actually fairly common throughout the field, except for the Vette's, from what I can see), reduced allowances for underhood cooling and brake ducting, and restrictions on the size of their fuel-fill tube. And there are hundreds of smaller changes and rules.

The Vettes do get hit by rule changes, of course, but rarely by rules aimed specifically at their cars. And those bulletins do specifically list which cars are affected, so restrictions placed on cars like the Viper are not incidental.

Suddenly it's easy to understand why NECKCAR keeps their rulebooks secret, eh?
