If anything, Katrina gave a few of our resident white hoods all the excuse that they needed to allow their true nature to be shown.
The Alley has grown to be less of a friends network and more of a melting pot over the last year or so, and as such we have to accept the fact that we most likely have attracted a few less desireables into the fray.
But it doesn't stop at racism. We've got some new members here that would probably be more comfortable playing hop-scotch, or poking sticks at dogs through fences, than they are at forming proper sentences and making meaningful, well thought out posts (or at the very least being somewhat funny).
I think that less people need to jump on the bandwagons of some of these idiots, and instead we need to administer a few good ole-fashioned Alley beatdowns so that we can weed out some of the degenerate scum that has found its way into our (not-so-little anymore) pond.
