Before I get a ton of shit just remember this is in the anything goes section and I am asking because it seems like there are alot of good mechanics on here.Ok now time for the question my friend has a Jetta vr6 it starts fine but then it will rev like mad not like a choke rev but like a full throttle rev and then it dies.It also will run fine until you come to a stop and then it will also just die.I was wondering if this could be a computer issue or a Throttle position switch?The garage here said "It something in the wiring" and that is all the gave her to go on.Any help is appreciated.
