Jose, I'm with you...why? A viper has 488 CI. It has enormous torque as it is. Add 2 turbos and there are no tires on the planet (outside of slicks)that can harness the thing. Plus fitting big enough turbos (enough to minimize backpressure) is going to be quite a challenge. I still don't see how SVS is able to squeeze my turbos in there.

There is this biggest and baddest trend happening here and on the LS1 board. I almost succumbed myself, building a 427 stoker for my Z. I was going to use it. With Jose's help I realized that I really didn't need it (plus couldn't fit a T88 to match up with the 427CI motor in my engine bay)...ended up making over 700rwhp on pump gas with stock(346 cubes). 850rwhp is entirely possible on race gas. Not big numbers by Viper standards, but ok for lil V8 and a T76 only carrying around 3,200lbs and enough to do 150's in the quarter.

Past a certain point you are going to run race gas anyway..so why not just turn up the boost knob. I just think you can do ALOT with two dryers and stock cubes as evidenced by some of the results already out there (Heffner, Underground, SVSi, Hennessey,etc.). Oh well...it'll be fun to watch.
