Joker, I spent 4.5 years in insurance sales, as a captive agent. Ten years in claims before that.

If you get the opportunity... go for it. Although I took a Director level position back in claims, I am glad to have the sales side experience. For me I just decided I enjoy the corporate side.

Do it, you're young, and if you don't do it.... you'll always wonder what could have been.

For what it's worth.. the artist angle is far cooler than insurance sales.
