I used to live on board my 37' Cruiser. But I always had a house or apartment to keep my stuff in.

Min, you are going to want a storage facility. Living on board is great. But size is everything. Don't kid yourself about the sailboat. If it is home, your not going to be as inclined to take her out with a bunch of people on board.

Buy a cruiser. Or if short on funds get an intercoastal cruiser (IE: Big Houseboat) Houseboats are ugly. But they are faster than cruisers and get better MPG. They also offer a larger living space and better amenities for living on board.
