I don't get your anger. Stupid question gets a stupid answer -whats surprising with that? US went and attacked their country because allegedly Iraq was a threat to the national security of the united states. Sure, it can be argued (and i happen to believe that it's true) that the average Iraqi stands a better chance of having a better living but it is also true that the Iraqi's are full of emotions about being occupied by a foreign force -especially a force from a country which has for years been viewed as their enemy.
Put it this way, you won't know until decades from now if history will judge US favourably or not. I think it's very similar to how what happened to Japan after WWII, it was decades before the trust was put into place so that US and Japan became true allies.
There is really no point in asking questions like "are you happy", it's way too early imho.
