Damn I am bad with birthdays but I believe he was 1948 vintage. Was in Korea around 64 or 5. He had to build or do something with a communication tower and camp from the ground up somewhere on the the 38th par. He had orders to go to Vietnam next but when JFK was shot his orders changed. You know I don't know if he was ever bull$hitting but he always said there was something to do with Cuba and an attempt on Castro but the plans fell through. He never really bull$hitted when it came to that stuff but it seemed pretty far fetched. He always hated cabbage after coming back from Korea. He ended up with the Red 1 or Bloody 1 he said. Funny he never really talked much about his military life even after I went into the Marines. He was generally quiet and didn't like to talk about it.
