Going Blind!

Ahhhhh! I'm going blind.

Okay, the other week I was raving about my new Dell 22" monitor. I run it at 1600x1200/85Hz. Problem is - when I turn away from the monitor my eyes have trouble adjusting (spotty vision, blurry)! I cannot read alot of things (clock, paper, etc) and it takes my eyes a while to adjust to not looking at the screen. I even went out and bought one of the ATI 9500 Pro cards to get the best refresh rate I could get.

I never had this problem with my 19" running at 1280x1024/85Hz - but now I'm getting headaches and shit.

Looking at the 19" and 22", the text and icons are all about the same size.

I easily spend 8-10 hours a day at this screen. If this is what I have to look forward to, I'm getting rid of it.

Whats up with this?
