You know, I have tried all kinds. And the best that I have used is bud light or coors light. I tried dark beers, budweiser, budwieser select, thinking a more potent beer would give more flavor and it doesnt. I think the light beer is what really brings out the steaks natural flavor. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. Remember to put a good amount of the tenderizer on the steak. When you think your putting too much, its just right.
