If I remember correctly, the plastic bushing is wearing out(my 96 had the same problem). I left mine alone, made it pretty much impossible for anyone to steal it. If you really want to get it fixed though, call Chuck Tator late next week. He is very knowledgeable and can get you the parts you need at a discount. 914-763-3136.
